What is the difference between a syndication and a REIT?When you invest in a REIT you are in essence buying shares of the properties that REIT owns vs a syndication in which your ownership will be in that specific asset. The volatility is usually less with a syndication due to the fact they are generally smaller companies and managed by the actual owner/investor.

Can I sell my ownership interest early?When we have our 1 on 1 call this will be discussed. We only want you to invest if those investment funds are what we call “extra”. That means making the investment you choose will not affect you or your family’s lifestyle as it is growing within the specific property. If there is an ability to sell your shares of ownership, the steps and details will be specifically defined within the operating agreement for the property.

Can I use my retirement funds to invest?The answer is yes. It is possible to use a self-directed IRA to fund a syndication. You can get massive tax-savings benefits, but there are some rules that the IRS requires you to follow: don’t use the investment for personal reasons, pay all expenses using the retirement account, and collect all gains using the retirement account. First speak to your CPA.

What is the minimum investment?There are 3 general tiers for investment. There may be exceptions to the tiers upon unique situations. We can make those case to case considerations. General tiers are: 50k, 100k, and 200k.

What is the general hold time per investment?Generally the hold time is between 5-7 years. We will specifically cover that on the initial information per deal opportunity.
